The Doctora Adela Reta SODRE National Auditorium in Montevideo, Uruguay, was transformed into an architectural masterpiece with the incorporation of 12'000 m2 of Medium Tone Turkish Travertine in its interior façade. Cut to the grain, honed and with open pore or capped options, this material was meticulously adapted in 784 different sizes with 3 cm thickness and special cuts, reflecting the magnitude of the challenge involved in this project. The intricate post-fire reconstruction of the auditorium has been enhanced by the precise choice of this travertine, marking a milestone in Uruguayan architecture.
